The Armstrong School District is located in southwestern Pennsylvania, in central Armstrong County, with a small portion located in western Indiana County. The district serves 6,000 students who learn in five secondary schools and seven elementary schools, all scattered across the 436 square miles of this geographically large school district. The Armstrong School District's goal has always been to create high-performing schools and high-performing students, and we have nearly 500 teachers working to make public education a great learning experience for these students. The district has consistently moved forward with educational programs and services that are aligned with local and state academic standards. Our motto is "Working Together for Academic Excellence" and we provide the technology resources that support a strong curriculum and enhance student learning.
